Bill Wong, OTD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist licensed in the state of California who practices in skilled nursing facilities. Bill specializes in the subject of autism and connecting with others via social media, passions that stem from his diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome which first came to light in 2010. He has presented internationally at occupational therapy conferences and is the first OT practitioner to have done two TEDx talks. Bill also has a passion for leadership in OT; he currently serves within the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) community of leaders and as the Representative Assembly (RA) Representative #2 from California. 

On this episode, Bill shares about his path into the field of OT, challenges and successes he has experienced in pursuing his aspirations as a leader in the field of OT, and his work in connecting with others on social media and as a TEDx speaker.

While listening to your shows we are always looking for something exciting to listen and it seems to be an obvious thing. You are always having the most exciting things running on this channel which I use.

I always keep in mind that if you work hard, all your efforts will be replaced with good outcomes. You do not have to stress about something. Instead, think of ways on how you can solve your problem then do it. Because this is the problem with students nowadays, they always nag about professors giving too much school work, but none of them actually take the time to finish those school works. They keep on saying that they are stressed because of too much school work, but if you to think of it, there really is nothing to stress about because they are not even doing it.
